Project Description
The QA Engineer will be responsible for validating software functionality and identifying issues before release. The role contributes directly to the companyβs mission of delivering seamless digital products by ensuring all systems meet established performance and reliability standards.
Core Responsibilities and Expected Deliverables
The engineer will design and execute test cases, log and track defects, collaborate with developers to resolve issues, and provide input on process improvements. Deliverables include detailed bug reports, test coverage documentation, and regular feedback on product stability.
Required Experience and Preferred Qualifications
A bachelorβs degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Certifications in software testing, such as ISTQB Foundation, are advantageous. While prior professional experience is not required, internships or academic project work in testing will be highly regarded.
Tools or Platforms to Be Used
The position will involve tools such as Selenium, Cypress, JIRA, TestRail, Postman for API testing, and GitHub for version control.
Language Requirement
English proficiency is required for documentation and communication with team members.
Communication Style
The company primarily uses Slack for messaging, JIRA for tracking issues, and Zoom for weekly meetings and sprint reviews.
Time Commitment or Working Window
The role requires 40 hours per week, with flexible working hours and at least three overlapping hours with EST.
