Project Description
The Unity Developer will be involved in designing and implementing gameplay features, integrating art and sound assets, and ensuring the smooth functioning of game mechanics. The role is critical to creating engaging user experiences and delivering high-quality products across mobile, PC, and console platforms.
Core Responsibilities and Expected Deliverables
Key tasks include coding gameplay systems, collaborating with designers and artists, debugging performance issues, and contributing to release builds. Deliverables will include playable prototypes, polished game features, and optimized code ready for production.
Required Experience and Preferred Qualifications
A degree in computer science, game development, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory. Fresh graduates with strong Unity projects in their portfolio are encouraged to apply. Additional experience with AR/VR features or multiplayer development will be considered a plus.
Tools or Platforms to Be Used
Unity, Visual Studio, GitHub, Jira, and Blender or Maya for asset integration.
Language Requirement
English proficiency is required for effective communication and documentation.
Communication Style
The team uses Slack for day-to-day communication, Jira for project tracking, and Zoom for weekly sprint reviews and team meetings.
Time Commitment or Working Window
40 hours per week, with flexibility in scheduling but overlap required during core hours in Pacific Time.
