Salary and Payment Mode
The role offers a competitive annual salary ranging between $70,000 and $95,000, depending on experience. Payments are made via direct deposit on a bi-weekly basis.
Required Skills and Tools
The position requires strong proficiency in Unity or Unreal Engine, experience with C# or C++, and an understanding of multiplayer networking. Familiarity with Web3 technologies, blockchain integration, or VR/AR headsets such as Oculus Quest and HTC Vive is considered a strong asset.
Project Description
The selected candidate will contribute to developing immersive worlds and interactive systems within HorizonXR Studios’ proprietary metaverse platform. The role combines backend programming, front-end design integration, and optimization for performance across multiple devices.
Core Responsibilities and Deliverables
Key tasks include developing interactive features, integrating avatars and social systems, ensuring seamless VR compatibility, and maintaining secure asset transactions within the metaverse. Deliverables will include functional modules, optimized builds, and regular updates aligned with the company’s development roadmap.
Required Experience and Preferred Qualifications
Applicants should hold a degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, though equivalent experience is also accepted. A portfolio of VR, AR, or 3D projects is highly desirable. Certifications in Unity or Unreal are a plus.
Tools and Platforms
Candidates will use Unity or Unreal, GitHub for version control, Jira for task management, and Slack and Zoom for team communication.
Language and Communication
Fluency in English is required, with strong written and verbal communication skills for clear collaboration in a distributed team.
Time Commitment
The role requires a commitment of 35–40 hours per week, with availability for weekly sprint meetings and ad-hoc team check-ins.

Payments are salaried and regular, with performance reviews every six months. Evaluation is based on timely delivery, code quality, innovation in solutions, and team collaboration.
