Project Description
The Cloud Architect will play a pivotal role in shaping NovaEdge Systems’ cloud strategy. This includes assessing business needs, designing solutions that optimize cost and performance, and ensuring resilience and security across all deployments. The role is highly collaborative, requiring close interaction with developers, security engineers, and product managers.
Core Responsibilities and Expected Deliverables
The Cloud Architect will define technical architectures for large-scale projects, implement cloud migration strategies, and develop reusable patterns for hybrid and multi-cloud setups. Deliverables include detailed architecture diagrams, documentation of best practices, and the successful deployment of robust cloud environments.
Required Experience and Preferred Qualifications
Candidates should have a degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. While certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Architect, or Google Professional Cloud Architect are preferred, they are not mandatory. A strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and automation is highly desirable.
Tools or Platforms to Be Used
AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud; Terraform or CloudFormation; Kubernetes; CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
Language Requirement
English proficiency is required for both verbal and written communication.
Communication Style
Collaboration primarily via Slack, Zoom, and email. Documentation and project tracking will be managed through Jira and Confluence.
Time Commitment or Working Window
40 hours per week, with flexibility for remote working. Team meetings are generally scheduled between 9 AM and 1 PM EST.

Monthly salary on a fixed basis.
Evaluation Criteria
