Project Description
The role involves contributing to the design and development of new and existing games, ensuring that gameplay mechanics are both engaging and technically sound. The purpose is to deliver polished, innovative, and entertaining products that meet the expectations of a global gaming audience.
Core Responsibilities and Expected Deliverables
The successful candidate will design, code, and implement core game features, troubleshoot performance issues, and work closely with the creative team to integrate assets, animations, and audio. Deliverables include regular builds, feature implementations, and performance-tested modules that align with production timelines.
Required Experience and Preferred Qualifications
Applicants should have a background in computer science, software engineering, or related fields. Previous experience with mobile or PC game development is advantageous, but not required for entry-level applicants. A portfolio showcasing prior projects or prototypes is highly desirable.
Tools or Platforms to Be Used
Unity, Unreal Engine, Visual Studio, Blender (optional), GitHub, and Jira for task management.
Language Requirement
English proficiency is required for effective collaboration. Additional languages are a plus but not mandatory.
Communication Style
The team primarily communicates through Slack for daily updates, Zoom for sprint reviews, and email for formal reporting.
Time Commitment or Working Window
30 to 40 hours per week, with flexible scheduling. Preference will be given to candidates who can overlap at least 3 to 4 hours with the core team’s working window.
Payment Terms
Monthly compensation with the possibility of performance-based bonuses. Contracts are renewable every six months.
