Project Description
The Software Engineering Manager will oversee multiple product development teams, ensuring high standards of code quality, efficiency, and collaboration. The role will focus on guiding engineers through technical challenges, scaling software systems, and delivering high-impact digital products that support BrightWave’s clients.
Core Responsibilities and Expected Deliverables
The manager will be responsible for setting team objectives, ensuring timely delivery of projects, mentoring engineers, and coordinating with stakeholders. Deliverables include project roadmaps, high-quality releases, and regular progress reports.
Required Experience and Preferred Qualifications
Candidates should have at least five years of experience in software development, with two years in a leadership or managerial role. Preferred qualifications include experience with distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and agile frameworks. A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
Tools or Platforms to Be Used
Development teams use GitHub, Jira, Slack, AWS, Azure DevOps, and Zoom for communication and project management.
Language Requirement
English fluency is required. Additional languages are a plus but not mandatory.
