Project Description
The QA Engineer will play a vital role in maintaining the quality and performance of web and mobile applications developed by PixelEdge Technologies. The primary objective is to detect defects early, prevent issues from reaching production, and ensure smooth delivery of user-ready software.
Core Responsibilities and Expected Deliverables
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating test plans, writing and executing test cases, identifying software bugs, and collaborating with developers to resolve issues. Deliverables include detailed test reports, documented defect logs, and contributions to process improvements in the QA cycle.
Required Experience and Preferred Qualifications
While prior QA experience is not mandatory, candidates with internships, certifications in software testing, or a background in computer science will have an advantage. Knowledge of Agile methodologies is also preferred.
Tools or Platforms to Be Used
Daily work will involve JIRA for issue tracking, GitHub for version control collaboration, and testing tools such as Selenium and Postman for automation and API testing.
