Project Description
The SEO Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to improve the search engine ranking of Elevate Commerce Group’s e-commerce websites. This role focuses on increasing organic traffic, enhancing user experience, and ensuring best practices in on-page and off-page SEO.
Core Responsibilities and Expected Deliverables
The successful candidate will perform keyword research, optimize site structure and metadata, manage backlink strategies, and collaborate with content creators to ensure optimized product descriptions and blogs. Deliverables include monthly SEO performance reports, recommendations for continuous improvement, and measurable increases in search visibility.
Required Experience and Preferred Qualifications
Candidates should have a degree in marketing, communications, or computer science, or equivalent practical experience. Hands-on experience with SEO campaigns is highly desirable. Certifications in Google Analytics or SEO-specific platforms will be considered advantageous.
Tools or Platforms to Be Used
SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and WordPress or Shopify.
Language Requirement
Fluent English is required. Additional language proficiency is beneficial but not essential.
Communication Style
Collaboration will primarily take place through Slack, Zoom, and email, with weekly check-ins and monthly performance reviews.
