Project Description
The AI Research Scientist will focus on experimental research, algorithm design, and the creation of prototypes that contribute to both academic knowledge and practical AI applications. This work includes developing new models, publishing findings, and collaborating with engineering teams to translate research into production-ready systems.
Core Responsibilities and Expected Deliverables
Responsibilities include designing and testing AI models, authoring high-quality research papers, and presenting findings internally and externally. Deliverables include experimental prototypes, reproducible research code, technical reports, and collaboration on peer-reviewed publications.
Required Experience and Preferred Qualifications
A masterβs degree or PhD in computer science, artificial intelligence, or a related field is preferred, though strong bachelorβs candidates with exceptional portfolios may be considered. Prior research publications, experience in AI competitions, or recognized contributions to the research community will be considered strong advantages.
Tools or Platforms to Be Used
Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Jupyter notebooks, Git, and cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. Familiarity with distributed training systems is also beneficial.
Language Requirement
English is required for daily collaboration and publication. Additional language skills are welcome but not required.
Communication Style
Daily collaboration will take place via Slack and Zoom, with email and Confluence used for research documentation and publication tracking.
Time Commitment or Working Window
Forty hours per week with flexible scheduling. Researchers must maintain at least four hours of overlap with core team hours in European or US time zones.
