Project Description
The Big Data Engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining systems that can efficiently handle massive volumes of structured and unstructured data. The purpose of this role is to support analytics teams by ensuring that clean, reliable, and timely data is always available.
Core Responsibilities and Expected Deliverables
Responsibilities include designing ETL processes, optimizing data pipelines, and monitoring data systems for reliability. Deliverables will consist of documented workflows, high-performance big data solutions, and dashboards that track the stability of data processes.
Required Experience and Preferred Qualifications
Applicants should hold a bachelorβs degree in computer science, data engineering, or a related field. Previous internships, academic projects, or professional experience with big data systems are beneficial. Preferred qualifications include certification in cloud platforms or experience with modern orchestration tools like Airflow.
