The Community Engagement Specialist will design and execute outreach programs, coordinate events, and manage relationships with community organizations, volunteers, and beneficiaries. Responsibilities will include preparing reports on program effectiveness, identifying new engagement opportunities, and ensuring alignment with the foundationβs mission and goals. Deliverables include detailed outreach plans, successful event execution, and measurable increases in community participation.
Preferred qualifications include a degree in communications, sociology, public policy, or a related field. Experience in event planning, advocacy campaigns, or nonprofit program management will be advantageous. Freshers with relevant volunteer or internship experience will be strongly considered.
Daily responsibilities will involve using tools such as Google Workspace for documentation, Zoom for remote meetings, and Slack for team communication. English fluency is required, and knowledge of Spanish or other community-relevant languages will be a plus.
The expected time commitment is 35β40 hours per week, with flexibility to adjust schedules for evening or weekend events when necessary.
