Required Skills or Tools

Project Description
The IoT Engineer will play a central role in building scalable and secure IoT ecosystems for smart home devices, industrial monitoring, and energy management systems. The goal of this role is to develop innovative solutions that connect devices, collect data efficiently, and enhance user experiences.
Core Responsibilities and Expected Deliverables
The engineer will be responsible for designing IoT device architectures, developing firmware, integrating devices with cloud platforms, and conducting rigorous testing to ensure reliability and performance. Deliverables include well-documented code, deployment-ready device configurations, and performance optimization reports.
Required Experience and Preferred Qualifications
Candidates should hold a bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. Previous project experience with microcontrollers such as Arduino or Raspberry Pi will be beneficial. Certifications in IoT security or cloud solutions are considered a plus.
Tools or Platforms to Be Used
Key tools and platforms include AWS IoT Core, Azure IoT Hub, Google Cloud IoT, GitHub for version control, and JIRA for task management.
Language Requirement
English proficiency is required. Knowledge of German or another European language is desirable but not mandatory.
Communication Style
Team communication will primarily take place via Slack and Zoom, with email used for client updates and official documentation.
Time Commitment or Working Window
A standard commitment of 35 to 40 hours per week is expected, with flexibility for candidates working across time zones.
