Project Description
The QA Engineer will play a central role in validating software quality throughout the development lifecycle. Working closely with developers, product managers, and design teams, the engineer will design and execute test plans, identify issues, and ensure that all deliverables meet the company’s quality standards.
Core Responsibilities and Expected Deliverables
The main tasks include creating detailed test cases, executing functional and regression tests, reporting bugs, and verifying fixes. The engineer will also contribute to building automated test suites and participate in release planning, ensuring high-quality deployments. Deliverables include comprehensive test reports, documented issues, and validated software ready for release.
Required Experience and Preferred Qualifications
While no prior industry experience is required, candidates with internships or exposure to QA processes will have an advantage. Preferred qualifications include a degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, along with certifications such as ISTQB or equivalent.
Tools or Platforms to Be Used
Daily tasks will involve the use of JIRA for issue tracking, Git for version control, Selenium for automation testing, and Confluence for documentation.
