Project Description
The QA Tester will be responsible for validating the quality and performance of web and mobile applications. The position involves identifying bugs, documenting defects, and collaborating closely with developers to ensure timely fixes and product improvements.
Core Responsibilities and Expected Deliverables
Key responsibilities include designing and executing test cases, reporting defects, conducting regression testing, and ensuring compliance with quality assurance standards. Deliverables include detailed bug reports, test result documentation, and recommendations for improving software reliability.
Required Experience and Preferred Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related discipline is preferred. Prior internships or experience in testing environments is an advantage. ISTQB or similar certification is desirable but not mandatory.
Tools or Platforms to Be Used
Jira, TestRail, Selenium, Cypress, GitHub, and browser/device testing platforms such as BrowserStack.
Language Requirement
English proficiency is required for reporting, documentation, and collaboration.
Communication Style
Collaboration will occur via Slack and Zoom for daily communication, with Jira and Confluence used for project management and documentation.
Time Commitment or Working Window
Full-time, forty hours per week, with flexible hours. Some overlap with core team working hours is expected.
