Project Description
The Quality Assurance Engineer will play a vital role in the software release cycle, ensuring that NovaEdge Solutions’ applications meet high standards of performance and user experience. The position involves both manual and automated testing to validate product functionality and uncover issues before deployment.
Core Responsibilities and Expected Deliverables
Responsibilities include writing and executing test cases, maintaining automated test suites, documenting defects, and collaborating with developers to resolve issues. Deliverables will consist of accurate test reports, validated bug fixes, and contributions to continuous integration workflows.
Required Experience and Preferred Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level applicants. Experience with regression testing, functional testing, or mobile app testing will be an advantage. Certifications such as ISTQB or similar are considered a plus.
Tools or Platforms to Be Used
Day-to-day work will involve JIRA for bug tracking, Selenium for automation, GitHub for version control, and Slack or Zoom for communication.
