Required Skills and Tools
Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in RPA platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism. Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or JavaScript is highly valued, along with familiarity in SQL and workflow design. Strong analytical and logical thinking skills, combined with attention to detail, are essential for success in this role.
Project Details
The RPA Developer will work on projects that focus on automating repetitive business tasks and integrating processes across different systems. This includes designing efficient automation solutions, testing and deploying them, and ensuring they remain robust and scalable as business needs evolve. The role requires creating detailed technical documentation, collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements, and delivering solutions that align with organizational goals.
Core responsibilities include analyzing existing workflows, identifying automation opportunities, developing RPA bots, maintaining deployed solutions, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. Candidates should also be able to propose process improvements and support governance standards for automation best practices.
Preferred qualifications include prior internships or projects in automation, exposure to machine learning concepts for intelligent automation, and certifications in leading RPA tools.
Tools or Platforms
UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, Python, SQL, GitHub for version control, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure where relevant.
Language Requirement
Proficiency in English is required. Additional European or Asian languages are considered an asset for global collaboration.
Communication Style
Regular updates and meetings through Slack, Zoom, and email.
Time Commitment
40 hours per week with flexibility in scheduling, though candidates should be available for regular sprint planning and review meetings.
Payment Terms
Fixed monthly salary with annual performance reviews and potential bonuses tied to project outcomes.
Evaluation Criteria
Candidates will be assessed based on technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate effectively. A coding challenge and case study will form part of the recruitment process.
Other Requirements
Successful candidates must be comfortable using time-tracking tools, adhere to company security policies, and sign a standard non-disclosure agreement (NDA).
