Job Details
Project Description
You will join a compact, data-driven team responsible for improving discoverability and conversion for client websites. The work spans technical audits, information architecture, keyword research, content briefing, and experimentation. The goal is to deliver durable organic growth through white-hat strategies, clean implementation, and thoughtful measurement.
Core Responsibilities and Expected Deliverables
Run technical audits covering crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, and structured data; deliver a prioritized issue log with clear fixes.
Build and maintain keyword maps and content briefs aligned to commercial intent and topical authority.
Ship on-page improvements at scale: title and meta updates, internal linking plans, schema markup, and UX-aware recommendations.
Create dashboards and weekly snapshots in Looker Studio that translate GA4 and Search Console data into decisions.
Partner with content writers and developers to test hypotheses, document outcomes, and institutionalize wins into playbooks.
Produce a monthly impact report outlining actions taken, results achieved, and next-month priorities.
Required Experience and Preferred Qualifications
We are open to strong entry-level candidates who can demonstrate applied understanding through coursework, internships, freelance work, or a personal project. One to three years in an SEO or digital marketing role is ideal but not mandatory. Certifications such as Google Analytics, HubSpot SEO, or BrightEdge are appreciated but not required. Clear writing, structured thinking, and curiosity matter more than titles.
Tools or Platforms to Be Used
Day-to-day work relies on GA4, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, Ahrefs or Semrush, Screaming Frog, Google Sheets, and Jira or Asana for task management. Most client sites run on WordPress or Webflow; basic Git exposure is helpful but not essential.
Language Requirement
Fluent English is required for client communication and documentation. Additional European languages are beneficial but optional.
Communication Style
We default to asynchronous updates in Slack and project boards, with weekly Zoom stand-ups and ad-hoc screen shares for deep dives. Major recommendations are documented in concise memos.
Time Commitment or Working Window
This is a 40-hour per week role with flexible scheduling around a 10:00β15:00 Eastern collaborative window to support cross-time-zone teamwork.
Payment Terms
Salaried employment paid monthly; bonus eligibility is tied to individual and portfolio outcomes. No time-and-materials billing.
Evaluation Criteria
Shortlisted candidates will be assessed on a practical take-home audit (2β3 hours), clarity of written recommendations, familiarity with analytics, and the ability to structure ambiguous problems. We value thoughtful prioritization over exhaustive checklists.
Other Requirements
A standard NDA will be required due to client data access. Light time-tracking in Harvest for capacity planning may be requested. Occasional travel for team offsites (1β2 times per year) is optional.
