Project Description
The developer will be responsible for creating, testing, and maintaining decentralized applications and blockchain protocols. The role involves implementing high-quality smart contracts and ensuring their security, performance, and scalability.
Core Responsibilities and Expected Deliverables
Responsibilities include designing smart contracts, coding and deploying them to testnets and mainnets, writing automated tests, conducting code reviews, and collaborating with team members to deliver end-to-end blockchain solutions. Deliverables include fully audited smart contracts and detailed documentation.
Required Experience and Preferred Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Solidity and blockchain concepts is essential. A degree in computer science, software engineering, or related fields is preferred but not required if candidates can demonstrate proven skills. Prior contributions to open-source blockchain projects or DeFi protocols are an advantage.
Tools or Platforms to Be Used
Solidity, Hardhat, Truffle, Ganache, MetaMask, and GitHub.
Language Requirement
Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus but not mandatory.
Communication Style
Daily collaboration through Slack and weekly check-ins via Zoom.
Time Commitment or Working Window
40 hours per week, with flexible scheduling. Some overlap with GMT or EST hours is expected.
Payment Terms
Monthly fixed salary with performance-based bonuses.
Evaluation Criteria
Candidates will be assessed based on coding ability, problem-solving skills, and understanding of blockchain security. Strong collaboration and communication skills will also be considered during the evaluation process.
