Project Description
This role focuses on delivering new features for our multi-tenant SaaS platform that helps operations teams orchestrate approvals, forms, and service catalogs. You will ship user-facing modules, optimize API interactions, and harden the codebase with tests and observability, working closely with product managers and designers in two-week sprints.
Core Responsibilities and Expected Deliverables
You will implement well-scoped tickets from our roadmap, contribute to architectural discussions, and maintain code quality through reviews and tests. Expected deliverables include merged pull requests aligned to acceptance criteria, incremental database migrations when needed, and concise technical notes that enable smooth handoffs.
Required Experience and Preferred Qualifications
We look for a foundation in computer science concepts such as data structures, HTTP, and asynchronous programming. Experience from internships, open-source contributions, or personal projects demonstrates readiness to contribute. Familiarity with cloud deployment basics and accessibility is preferred. Any exposure to design systems or performance profiling is a plus.
Tools or Platforms to Be Used
Node.js, TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL, Prisma or similar ORM, Jest or Vitest, Playwright for end-to-end tests, GitHub Actions for CI/CD, Docker for local environments, and a major cloud provider such as AWS.
Language Requirement
English for daily collaboration; additional languages are welcome but not required.
Communication Style
Asynchronous-first via Slack and GitHub issues, with weekly Zoom stand-ups and ad-hoc pairing. Product specs are shared in Notion, and sprint ceremonies run on a lightweight cadence.
Time Commitment or Working Window
40 hours per week with flexible scheduling; core collaboration windows target late-morning to late-afternoon UTC. Occasional release windows may require brief overlap outside core hours, scheduled in advance.
Payment Terms
Monthly salary with an annual review cycle and discretionary bonus tied to company and individual performance. Contractor arrangements are milestone-based with biweekly invoicing where applicable.
Evaluation Criteria
Applications are assessed on clarity of code samples, problem-solving in a short take-home exercise, collaboration during a live pairing session, and communication in a behavioral interview. We value thoughtful trade-offs, test discipline, and an ability to explain decisions.

Standard NDA upon offer acceptance, identity verification, and reference checks. Light-touch time tracking for contractors to support invoicing accuracy. Security awareness training is provided during onboarding.
