Project Description
The Software Engineer will contribute to the design and development of scalable applications, working closely with product managers, UX designers, and other developers. The purpose of the role is to deliver reliable and efficient solutions that align with client needs and company goals.
Core Responsibilities and Expected Deliverables
The selected candidate will design, code, and test software modules, resolve technical issues, and participate in code reviews. Deliverables will include functional applications, documented code, and performance-optimized solutions.
Required Experience and Preferred Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred but not mandatory for exceptional candidates. Previous internship or project experience in software development is an advantage. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure and an understanding of agile methodologies.
Tools or Platforms to Be Used
Development will involve platforms such as Visual Studio Code, GitHub, JIRA, and collaboration tools like Slack and Zoom.
Language Requirement
Fluent English communication is required; additional languages are a plus but not mandatory.
Communication Style
Daily communication will be conducted through Slack and email, with weekly meetings on Zoom for progress updates.
Time Commitment or Working Window
Approximately 40 hours per week, with core collaboration hours between 9 AM and 5 PM PST.
Payment Terms
Fixed monthly salary with performance-based reviews conducted annually.
Evaluation Criteria
Candidates will be assessed based on coding skills, problem-solving aptitude, adaptability, and collaborative abilities. A technical test and interview process will form part of the evaluation.
Other Requirements
Candidates must agree to standard NDAs and may be required to use company-provided time-tracking software for project work.
