Candidates must be proficient in Unity and C# programming, with familiarity in 2D and 3D development, asset integration, and performance optimization. Experience with version control systems such as Git is required. Skills in shader programming, AR/VR integration, and multiplayer networking will be considered advantageous.
Job Details
The Unity Developer will be responsible for designing, coding, and maintaining game features and systems, ensuring that gameplay is smooth, engaging, and technically robust. The role requires collaboration with designers, artists, and testers to implement gameplay mechanics, integrate assets, and resolve performance issues.
Core responsibilities include developing new features, maintaining existing codebases, debugging technical issues, and optimizing performance across platforms. Deliverables will include functional game builds, polished gameplay systems, and reliable technical documentation to support long-term maintenance.
While no prior professional experience is mandatory for entry-level applicants, candidates should demonstrate their capabilities through personal projects, portfolio work, or academic game development. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with Unityโs Universal Render Pipeline (URP), multiplayer frameworks such as Photon or Mirror, and experience deploying games to PC, mobile, or console platforms.
The developer will primarily use Unity, C#, GitHub, and Jira for project management and version control. English fluency is required for all communication. Meetings will be conducted via Zoom and Slack, with daily task updates tracked in Jira.
This role requires a commitment of 35 to 40 hours per week, with flexibility around specific hours, as long as team overlap requirements are met. Payment is structured as a monthly salary with annual review opportunities. Candidates will be evaluated based on technical skill, creative problem-solving, adherence to deadlines, and collaborative ability. An NDA will be required, and time-tracking software may be used.
